Does anybody know who if anyone is using the old Masters finish on their cues?
It was developed by McDermott in the70's. Nubs Wagner (Retired) and Leonard Bludworth were the only 2 builders the I knew of that used it. From what I understand he has stoped using it.
It may have other names. It was a clear epoxy based finish. Satin gloss. Hard as a rock. Any cue I have with it in has never experienced and shifting of rings or lifting.
Seems if you breath on any of this new crap or bring your cue out when weather conditions are not right stuff lifts. I am def not thrilled with the UV finishes or the the car finish a lot of builders are using.
