I asked Ryan Theewen to make a couple of shafts to match my Palmer Model 'D', and I want to go on record to praise Ryan for the results (someone on the forum, I don't remember who - I just remembered: Joe @ bamacues... Thanks! - recommended Ryan as someone who would, and could, do this sort of reproduction work). Ryan applied a custom taper to the shafts that I requested, and matched the ringwork exactly to the original. The shafts are beautifully finished, play well, and are just about perfect in every way.
And all for less than $100 per shaft!!
