So it's a 256-player event, with single elimination for only the last 32, with races to 9, being played in 3 days instead of the 6 days that many of the big events are taking.

Yes, they are cramming a lot of matches in such a short time. Playing down from 256 to 32 in 1.5 days/ They start last 32 round on Saturday evening. Means 400 matches played in 1.5 days

464 matches to get to the Last 32! It looks like all 31 of the Last 32 matches are on Sunday (why are the semifinals and finals shown as Saturday?).

Ko Ping Chung v SVB
Semifinal of Zan Tip Invitational (which is continuation of yesterday's warm up to Bucharest Open )

You may be right. I didn't just gave round ballpark number 😅

Must be some typo error with the dates. They have changed dates now showing last 32 starts Sunday morning which is more realistic. That means finalists have to play 5 matches on Sunday :D http://9ball.ro/bracket

... This is the final (race to 9) which is also the fastest Eurotour final ever
Note that some of the elapsed time of this match (between games) was edited out. So the 27.3 minutes between the lag and the pocketing of the last ball understates the actual match time.

SVB is in a tussle in the Round of 32, losing 5-6 now to Diliyan Tiklev (FargoRate 704).

Ko PC defeated Ko PY in the Finals of the Zan Tip Invitational. Both are in the Last 16 of the Mezz Open. But they are both in the top half of the bracket, so only one can get to the Finals.

Kos are really playing in semi. Little Ko was down I think 4-8 to Zielinski and somehow came back to win 11-9 . Z seems to have problem with closing matches when he has big lead:D

Other semi is Konrad v Petri or Tobias

he's beating him again in the semi. top notch position play from the smaller brother.

Commentator Rico Diks has gone "bonkers" and too biased rooting for Tobias Bongers to come back in semifinal v Konrad
