Hopefully not...
After 2 full days of watching him play, I have to say his pace of play is absolutely ridiculous. You would need a sundial in order to put him on the shot clock. If this event used a shot clock like the last U.S. Open 14.1, I would expect his record would be less than stellar IMO.
He may be a nice guy and all, but cmon. This is the type of play that has killed 14.1. Two of the matches in particular, (against Ortmann and Barouty, who are both quick players) he used between 1.5 - 3 minutes between almost every shot. His match against Harriman wasn't much better.
