Came yesterday in a round cardboard tube. It scared me at first because the tube had a big dent/fold about a foot from one end and a big black skid mark with tread like a truck ran over it or it got jammed into the rollers on the conveyor belt. Luckily, that end was filled with bubble wrap so no damage done. Took it straight out to the pool room and started playing with it. That thing is awesome! Can't wait to play with it again tonight! :D

It plays that well huh? I looked them up and the construction looks awsome. How would you rate it against a standard 314?

IMHO I think it kicks 314 ass!!!!

But I am sure some would disagree.

LOL well I think I'm willing to spend 160.00 to find out. I see that they have a radial black collar with a silver ring. That should match my cue. I'll have to see if I can work a deal now for that price.

Got mine from Koinnkid for 168 shipped. Paid for it Thursday last week and got it yesterday. I can't compare to the Predator as I have never used one. I have been playing for almost a year with my Sharpshooter shaft which is very similar (radial laminated), exclusively. I sent it off to the cue repair man for some work last Wednesday, so have been getting used to shooting with a regular maple shaft for the past week. With no shaping or scuffing of the tip that came on the OB-1, just screwing it on and shooting with it, took no adjustment at all. I had heard everyone talking about just being able to shoot straight at the balls, so that's what I did and voila! After an hour and a half or so, my opinion is that there are some shots that I have been compensating for that I will no longer have to do that on. I'm going to have it turned down a little bit, but don't think it's really necessary. I was very pleased with the way it played. Tonight is snooker night, so that will be the real test for me. Can't wait!

I just bought one 5 minutes ago. Hope it hits as good as you guys say:D Now comes the part where I have to wait a few days

I just scored one for 160.00+ free shipping, now it's a waiting game. i can't stand waiting for a new toy....

They are unbelievable. I had a Predator shaft before I got my OB-1, and the difference is uncanny. Seriously, try it and if you don't like it, there is a huge market for them right now so you will definitely be able to sell it on eBay or even on the for sale forum here.
