Could someone give me a idea what this cue is worth. I know a little about older Mcdermott cues but not much about new ones.

That's a retired model called a silhouette. Retired in 2005. Original retail value is $475. Mcdermott approximates it's appreciation value at 28% or $600. But thats for a cue that is in 98% or better condition and probably only for one of the older ones (started making them in 2001). It is really hard to give an exact price on these. I have a Mcdermott of the same line, the M series, that Mcdermott says is worth $800 now. If I was to sell it I would start at $600 and thats only because it is in perfect condition and is one of the first made of its model and I don't really want to sell it lol. So for yours I would say if it's in good shape you might get $250 if your lucky and probably only looking at $200.

Thanks MC
I found the same info on the McDermott web sight but wasn't sure what kind of value to put on this cue. Thanks for you help.

I don't disagree that the values on the McDermott site are inflated, but I have seen these in the open market pulling a bit stronger money than that.

I would really hope so. These are great playing cues. I have had people accidently grab mine and start shooting with it and realize it wasn't yours and they couldn't believe how great it played.

In case one doesn't think they appreciate in value, I will gladly buy back all the MR, B, and C models for more than my customers paid.
