Seasons Greetings to the AZBilliards community!
I've recently had some things come up that warrant a re-prioritization of my life and what's important/necessary. I also rarely play anymore, so I don't really feel bad about getting rid of my cues. I bet I've played maybe 10 hours in the last 3-4 years, so it's clearly not a regular part of my life like it once was.
1 - McDermott Navigator II pool cue in 19 oz. weight. This cue comes with both the standard McDermott shaft and the I-2 shaft with matching silver railroad collar design I purchased from McDermott. I did not send the butt in to get the I-2 fitted, (McDermott does not have a "standard" joint size per-se) but it is pretty darn close to a true fit. It does not affect its playability one bit.
1 - McDermott Heartbreaker II break cue in 21 oz. weight with custom black lizard-skin wrap to match the Navigator II. This cue comes with both the standard McDermott shaft and the I-1 custom-fitted shaft I purchased from McDermott. These both have the phenolic tips.
1 - Dr. Popper jump cue.
1 - McDermott Shooter's Collection "Cowboy" style bag in 2x4 configuration. I can't seem to find this bag on the web anymore, but it is a beautiful and well made bag.
The Navigator II has a small chip on the butt that does not appear to be into the wood. The phenolic tip on the I-1 shaft that goes on the Heartbreaker is damaged and needs to be replaced but there does not appear to be any damage to the wood underneath. Any decent cue repair person should be able to perform the repair/replacement or you can send it back to McDermott to do (I believe it's free). I have joint protectors for both playing cues. The bag has a small-ish tear on the front pocket but everything else is in very good condition and shows only normal signs of use. The equipment has not been abused and I have always taken good care of everything.
Please don't hesitate to PM me if you are interested or need more information. I will try to get photos up soon, but I currently have limited access to the internet. Would also need to work out how to arrange payment/receipt of the cues and I would welcome anyone who has experience with this (escrow?) to offer their knowledge and I would be most appreciative.
I am asking $1,250 for everything and that is shipped and insured via UPS.
