McDermott Cues Logo change

The other day I was in a local billiards store looking at cue and I noticed that several new McDermott cues do not have the made in U.S.A. logo on them. These are not the lower end ones. There were cue of the month cues. Does anyone know why they do not imprint made in U.S.A. on the butt anymore?I do not want to believe that they are charging 400 dollars for something made overseas. Thanks!

Mine is 2003 to 2005 Professional series and it has the "Made in the USA" logo on it. So if its so, it would appear to be after 2005.

Anyone else have any newer models without the logo?

Thanks,
Craig

I was told by one of their dealers that anything with a clover logo and "made in the USA"........was made in the USA. The others, like the Barretta line, which have a funky colored logo........are not.

The logos on the new cues listed on McDermotts site do not have the "Made in the USA" distinction on the logo.

That's ok though. My next cue will probably come from a cue make on this forum. :)

Call me old fashioned but i like the almost engraved logo they used on the rs series it just has a better look to me rather than a transfer.

Mine's the January 2005 Cue of the Month.

On the website, it has the Made In USA. On mine, it doesn't. Did I get a ripoff? It hits pretty good either way, a couple of other people have said so too.

If your happy with the cue, and you feels it's a good value, then no, you didn't get ripped off.

Why would you care what someone who never seen or touched your cue feels about it?

Just enjoy your cue.
