McDermott "D" vs. Adam hit

Can anyone offer a comparison between these olde Adam( Helmstetter) phenolic and McDermott cues. Hit, etc.

Depends on the shaft you are using and the type of joint the Adam has.

That's rare. I thought they were all steel jointed cues. They definitely play different (McD and Adams)
