Mcdermott Dr popper jump cue!!!!!

Has any one ever used or seen the mcdermott Dr popper jump cue.Is it bca legal and how good does it jump??????

I tried it at the Baltimore show. It works ok but you have to use a really hard stroke to get the ball up in the air because there is so little mass to the cue. One advantage is that you don't have to chalk it. It's so light you can reach balls further away from the rail. I will stick to my Stealth jump cue that I can use a much easier stroke to pop the ball up with.

There is a video on the McDermott site of this cue (I noticed it whilst looking at site). It states though that the cue has a phenolic tip and weight of just 4oz as such I would be surprised if it would be legal in most rulesets.

I've used it. I like it for close jump shots (a balls width or less). Otherwise I'd prefer something else. It does meet the 40 inch length requirement though, so I'm pretty sure it meets WPA specs. "Dr. Cue" Tom Rossman used it in the latest Trick Shot Magic.
