This is a retired McDermott E series EK-3 " Chess" cue, made from 1990-1995. Absolutely dead straight, and pristine, unmarked, as new condition. Highly figured Birdseye Maple forearm. 5/16x14 piloted, stainless joint. This one was ordered with a leather wrap. 18 oz. without 1 oz. weight bolt. Bolt included, and has McDermott logo cast or stamped in it. Brand new medium Moori. Replaced only because of age. This cue has seen only minor action. Can't even find a buff mark on cue butt. SOLD!! Great collector. Won't find too many in this condition!

An extreme deal for the collector. McDermott may even want this one back, if they were to examine it.
 
Those of you looking at this as a "Novelty" item, should not. This cue feels like a "real" cue, the moment you put it together, and make a practice stroke with it, before ever hitting a ball. The new generation of cues has nothing on this one.
