I shoot with a McDermott I-3 on my Schon CX-06 and it's a great combination. The balance is perfect and I really like the European taper. The 11.75mm tip diameter allows me to apply english to the cue ball with geometric precision. I've sent my shaft back to McDermott several times for their free maintenance program. They clean the shaft, re-seal it, and install a new Moori soft tip at no charge. You only pay $21 for handling and shipping.
