Mcdermott Lucky L01 - opinion need and ballance rant

On the journey for searching for the holy grail cue I must say I'm pissed, cause I just bought a 400$ USD cue and while I love the Ob-1 shaft and kamui soft tip, I truly hate the 18in balance (in 18oz weight), cause the're virtually no possibility to check the cue before buying.

I hate the ballance to the point that I don't feel comfortable playing with the cue and I need to switch the butt fast.

So I need something more forward ballanced to my Ob-1 shaft with 3/8x10 pin (too bad it's almost impossible to find the steel collar 3/8x10) and in 18oz weight and wrapless, oh and not too expensive cause I'm out of money right now

I thought about this Mcdermott and I got a favour to ask. If by any chance you own the cue, would you be so kind and check the balance point with any LD shaft installed ? (measured from the butt witout the bumper).

I would be extremely grateful!

$400 for a Lucky? Did you buy it new?

Lucky is a bottom end McD line. The three McD I have all with I2 shaft balance where the wrap meets the forearm.

I don't know what an OB1 sells for new, but that's a lot of money to spend for a low end butt.

Lol no, I bought ob cue sneaky for 400$ (shipping + customs) and I want to change the butt.

After a while it's stiffness began to annoy me.

Ob-1 is perfect so far with kamui soft.
