McDermott M82A Pool Cue

Hi,

I took everyone's advice and have decided to get a cheaper cue as my first playing cue. The cue below is much simpler than the Schon I was considering and the seller is willing to sell it for $150 new including shipping. Has anyone any opinions on this one?

Nice, classy cue. I purchased one because it is wrapless and got a hell of a deal on it. The shaft is what you would expect from a less expensive McDermott (retails-$329)... loose/flimsy. Also, the website lists it as 19oz. I've weighed mine and a couple others (at dealer), and they all were a hair over 18oz. The cue is light and doesn't stroke as well as others until you add a little weight. Other than that, it is a beautiful cue... and good price.

The McDermott will serve you well and with proper care will last a lifetime. I love my McDermott's.
