McDermott Stinger Breaking shaft?

I'm starting back to pool after many years. I've recently bought 2 McDermott cues and like them. I'm wondering if anyone has (or has used) a McDermott Stinger break shaft or cue.

I have one. It's fine as a break cue. Simple and cheap. I don't think it's a great jump cue, to be honest...or I should say there are better ones, anyhow. As far as breaking, it breaks about as well as any other break cue, best I can tell.

Personally, I don't really care for the 13.25mm tip, though it doesn't really bug me either. I'd prefer a 13mm.

I would echo your sentiments John. For the price, it was a decent cue. When I was able to stroke the cue, it broke and jumped fine. I would also agree that it seemed to be a better breaker, than a jumper, but this is also just my opinion. I didn't really find the tip diameter to be a drawback, but I do believe a slightly smaller standard diameter, may have yielded different/better results. I would recommend the cue at it's price point.
