Im thinking about purchasing one and just wanted to know if anyone has used one or owned one. Just curious to hear your thoughts about the cue. Thanks.

Yep...I have one. The NG-01 model. I like it.

Mine came with the phenolic tip and new BCA regs say that you cannot use phenolic anymore so I put a Samsara break tip on it and love it. It hits as hard, or close, as the phenolic and jumps great.

They now come with the "big boy" leather tip and it is just the Samsara break tip. I contacted McDermott about the "big boy" to find out how much different it would be from the Samsara and was told that there would be zero difference because they are one and the same.

I've had one, NG-01, for about a year and love it. When the BCA banned the phenolic tips I sent mine back to Jerry and had him replace the tip with his hard leather tip and I can't really tell the different that much.

I don't own this cue but my buddy does so I have used it quite a bit. Enough to say I think it is a pretty good break cue and the price isn't bad either. My friend loves it, pretty good jumper too. I should say I have only used it with the standard phenolic tip it comes with though.

couldn't figure out how to send them via PM, so I figured you could see them here

I've got the NG-02 and I love it. Looks great and hits great as well. I'm able to jump really well with it, too. Haven't sent it in to change the phenolic tip yet...one of these days :)

I own one too and like it a lot. It's great for breaking and jumps really well, I would recommend it.

I've been breaking and jumping with the Stinger for many years. I saw the train coming down the tracks from the BCA and other orgs, so ordered mine originally with both the phenolic tip and with the IPT legal leather tip. I love them both and finally, use them both. The leather tip sat in the case, unused, for years, but now it gets a regular workout.

Same as the rest from the West Coast! Those that have the NG01 or NG02 really love them. A lot of us started with phenolic tips on various break cues, but when we heard about the "STINGER" tips (phenolic), a lot were purchased. About the same time, we were trying the SAMSARA leather break tips. Remarkably hard!! About the only difference was not really able to make the close jump shots. Maybe need to work just a little harder on the shots.
I just ordered an NG01 from "master9baller" here on the "Z". He has great discounted prices. If you're thinking of trying one, make sure you try him first and save a chunk of money.
