does anybody know if the mcdermott warranty plan covers all mcdermotts, or just those purchased directly from mcdermott with proof of purchase? i would call to ask, but im in japan and calling is a pain, thanks alot for any help.
 
It covers all McD's bought through an authorized dealer, not just directly from them. I don't believe it covers the lines they sell that do not carry the McD name. I think that as long as it is a McD cue (not Star, Element etc. for example) it is covered regardless of whether it is made in the US or imported.

Have you registered the cue at the McD website? My understanding is they require the sales receipt to be submitted with a warranty repair, but I think if the cue is registered then the registration number may be enough. You can call customer service to get the specifics.
