* Great player, Shaft is straight, but shaft's last collar ring fell off and glued back on, giving a slight wobble, the wood/shaft itself is true, just the collar is the issue (very minimal and one could turn or resurface the face of the shaft if he/she was super picky), butt is straight. Absolutely great player.

I think that selling these cues to get a custom is a good move. The next step will be trying to find that perfect cue that suits your style. Goodluck :thumbup2:
 
couple questions about the mc-d and the mooch....

what's the materials? ebony into maple? what's the notched diamonds? abalone?

on the mooch, what do you mean by a slight run out? due to shaft warpage or....?

1. Mcdermott is Ebony. Notched diamonds are Mother of pearl.

2. Moochi(Meucci) The shaft is Straight. When you roll it, it wobbles due to the last shaft collar ring (since the shaft collar ring had fallen off and glued back on) When the shaft is rolled on a table and the collar is not touching the surface it is straight. So the shaft is straight, the outer diameter of the collar was not glued in it's original place. The collar ring not positioned correctly gives the shaft an oblong characteristic.

Just collecting $$$ to buy a custom, I like anything Notched Diamonds, or simple 4 point splice, leather wrap, Straight and True. Something under $750, solid hitting, known cue maker...
 
McDermott Massey Cue...............

I used to own that same model cue. Its one of the best cues I've ever owned. Good luck with the sale
