The McGirrs I remember from late 50's-early 60's was a class operation run by Mr. McGirr. Not the low class room described by some people.
 
I think I was in McGirrs in the early '60's.
It was down in the basement with pipes all over the ceiling.
Or was that another room? Ames maybe?
