Just curious if anyone from the board will be attenting this event on Sept. 4-6. It is a $3000 added 9-ball based on 96 and costs $60 to enter. I'll be heading up there with a group of 5 from Boise. I know John Horsfall & Glen Atwell will probably be there and someone else but I forgot his name.

I plan on going to watch some of the action, but I don't think I will be playing.
I was there last year to watch some of the final matches. They were all good.

If I remember correctly here are just a few from last year and probably this year.
John and Glenn mentioned already.

Hey, DeadPoked, sorry to change the subject, but it sounds like you're from Boise. Can you tell me anything about Backstreet Billiards? The NWPA is having a tour stop there next month and I'm just curious. The owner, Doug, was really nice on the phone. Thanks!

whitey thanks for the info. Maybe we can hook up and play a few games. I'll probably be two and out really quickly. I'm traveling there with 4 of the best players from Boise and they will be in it a lot longer than I most likely. I am just going for the experience.

Not a problem runmout. Backstreet is a nice place to play. I normally don't play there. They have around 10 9-footers and are in excellent condition. They have I think 2 12-foot snooker tables and 1 billiard table. They also have about 8 7-footers but some of them are in bad shape. It has a lot of room and a large bar area. Not very good spectator seating around the 9-footers though. Be interesting to see how they work that. I actually live about 45 minutes from Boise. I am stationed at a military base in a small town. And I have to travel to play any quality players. If you want to know anything else let me know.

Santos Sambajon

I took a look at the sign up sheet yesterday.
You can add Santos Sambajon to the list.

Why would he not play in the U.S. open?
At least I can go watch some top quality players this weeked
without going across the country. :D
