I miss the days before the measle ball. I could apply spin without the competition knowing what I had done. If skilled they would have an idea but if not they were left to learn like I had, by trial and error.. Guess it means I am old but not quite finished yet!

Actually I like to advise folks if they ask nicely. On a new team now and going to spend a few hours with a guy that is struggling. He has been getting very upset at being run over and he needs some real help. Fundamentals and a pre-shot routine along with a quick shot of SPF to get him on a better / more consistent path. See how that works first then see what he learns from that before going further.So you are the old guy who wont teach me nothin ?
Yea, that I knew.. The young players have all sorts of help, probably the reason we see so many young players shooting high caliber pool by the time they are 18 years old. Joey Tate and Landon Hollingsworth come to mind. Great young men and very talented players!
