Local restaurant hosts in-house leagues on 8/9 foot AE Schmidt tables. Over the years they have had a half dozen local folks try to level/recover them but the job is never done well.

The last guy was a pool player, and he claimed that the slates and rails "float" and aren't attached to the frame.

Could this be true?

Is there any mechanics within driving distance who would be interested in the job? I think there are 7 or 8 tables overall.

The restaurant seems to be asking the pool players for input here, so I thought I would ask here.

No, they don't float...they sink like a rock...LOL Tell the owners I might be able to work out a trade-in on new Diamond's, and carry the new tables on contract just to make it easier on them.
