Mechanic Recommendation

Building my own 9' table (50" x 100" playing area). I am in the Chicago area. Serious player. I will be fussy about how well the table plays when all is said and done. Want an excellent mechanic to install Simonis cloth on bed and rails and do the leveling. Who would you recommend?

First of all, a serious player would know there's no such table as a 5 x 9! Second, a build it yourself table could be a major problem when it comes to installing cloth and leveling the slates...if it's not built right in the first place. Then, you need to build the table, but if you have the skills to build the table, why stop there, why not level the slates yourself and install the cloth as well:wink:

I'm not sure of his last name or how to contact him but I'm sure as I say his name someone will point u in the rite direction...there was a guy named jake or jack that worked on tables at alsip and orland park pro tyme billiards with glen..he shoulda be in chicago area...there was some other cats in the area that made it to alsip that would work ya.....
