I don't think that I missed it but it was interesting to see that no one talked about the mega bucks amateur league that Upstate was so kind to stream last weekend. I know most of you guys only care to support pro speed pool, neglecting the underbelly of pool which turns out to be the backbone of pool (I know, it's not easy to watch). But
Talent aside, did any of you happen to catch the stream "not knowing what you were getting into until it was too late" and what do you think, based on you limited or extended knowledge of it? were you curious and lost interest or are still a bit curious, just for curiosity sake?
This was an amateur tourney that paid a flat out and very respectable $5000 for first place, a feet that bigger Pro Am tourney fall short of, and this may include the APA finals, but that i'm not sure off.
So..... thoughts?
