Melissa Herndon's Run Continues

Just wondering if I am the only AZ'er that has noticed the phenomenal run our on-site pro Melissa Herndon is having. She has already beat top-notch pros Ellerby, Ouschan, and Jeanette Lee, with her only loss so far to Gerda (in a very good match).

She has to play Ellerby again today.

I don't know about you guys, but I think it is great to have one of our own reaching the top after such a long fight to get there. I can't help but wonder why her name is not even mentioned in the AZ cover stories of the event???

Hope you will join me in letting Melissa know that we are watching, and we do know what a great game she is bringing to the sport these days.

The Open

Yes, it's great to c Melissa doing well. She is a great shooter and it's nice that she will share her time with us on AZ. It does make u feel like root'n for a friend.

Wasn't it at this event where she made TV for the first time? Let's hope she can make another run at it. She has been mighty impressive so far and, of course, wish her the best of luck in the future.
