Buy it has been a long time since they posted, wonder how they is a doing. Was there not some major health problem?

I believe that they also had a Tornado problem which devastated Gene's shop and he had to rebuild again.
I think this set him back considerably, yet they still were active and contributed to the local pool scene, selflessly
during their time of hardship.
He and his wife are good people and I hope everything is going their way again.
As far as a health problem goes CC, I think that you remember exactly what happened.
Are you genuinely concerned or just feel like upping your post count and opening wounds for Gene and his wife.
If I remember, (which I actually do) this is not the first time you did this to an AZ member in the last several months
Just search Gene's or his wife's AZ name and its all there for you to read. But, I suspect that you have already done this and just want to do whatever your warped mind compels you to do.
