Merchandise Problem, What would you do?

Hey everyone,

I played in the State BCA 8 Ball tourny here in Corpus on March 15th.

I wound up buying several Polo shirts, and T-shirts from Becky Roush that day. (Becky's company is Promotions to Go!)

She didn't have two of the t-shirts I wanted and told me she would have them in the very next day. So I paid for them and the next day I got them with no problems.

At the same time I bought two shirts for my wife, and paid in full. Becky said she didn't have any of those shirts but took down our name, number, address, and email addresses. She informed me when she got back to North Texas she would mail them to us.

Well stupid me, I didn't get a receipt and I paid good money for both of my wife's shirts. She didn't offer a receipt though.

I figured since I got my shirts the next day that she was good for her word.

However, I don't have my wife's shirts and it is 2 1/2 months later!

I have been trying to contact her now for the last month. I have tried e mails, and phone calls to no avail.

I got ahold of her by phone once and she said she would check into it and call me back.

She hasn't called me back, and I can't seem to get a hold of her at all.

So I contacted Robert Tayber of the BCA here in TX. He said he would talk to her and tell her it was unacceptable.

However, Robert hasn't gotten into contact with her either.

I was wondering what I should do now? I either want the shirts, or my money back!

I don't know of anything to do except drive up there and get my point accross in person, but with the price of gas I would just be out more money.

What would you all do?

You might let her know (even if she doesn't respond to emails and phone calls) that people are hearing about the problem on this forum. Sometimes shining a little light on an issue like this helps to resolve it.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice!

Anyone else have some advice?

Does anyone else here think this is messed up?

If your running out of shirts to wear I suggest doing the laundry.

Better Business Bureau!! I have had more complaints resolved through their website/phone number than anywhere else. They will be one of the first things listed in your local phone book. I try and check business listings with the BBB before buying from unknown companies. I got took on a car I bought. But after my complaint. The other people seeing my complaint and method and following it. The Dealership was shut doe. They lost ther license. The owner is now in prison for a long long time. The BBB contacted all the right people and after I paid for the car. 950.00 for a GOOD engine I still have the last laugh. Good Luck. The previous post that mentioned you using this forum as a way of telling her 1 unhappy customer leads to hundreds, 1 happpy taken care of cutomer grows exponentionally

I had thought about the BBB, but didn't know if it would do anything for me at all.

Anyway, thanks for the advise. I guess I have nothing else to loose right?

I'd contact the attorney generals office. BBB is ok but if the AG's office should get involved things happen. You never know

I never thought about that one! I guess I will have to contact them too! It couldn't hurt.

I talked to Robert Taybor today too, and apparently she is avoiding him too!

Sounds like a sketchy business person for sure!
