Is there a professional way to speed up ultra? actually its valley teflon ultra. on the new battery tables.

Is there a professional way to speed up ultra? actually its valley teflon ultra. on the new battery tables.

I'm asking because I tubed a video on cleaning and preparing a snooker table and they used a rolled up peice of linoleum to flatten the nap and then an iron so I'm wondering if any of you guys have tried it and what was the result?

That sounds like it would ruin the cloth to me and I wouldn't try it myself.
