My name is Dennis Duckman.....oh, excuse me....that's DIECKMAN, aslo known as The Dieckmaniac or Sgt. Zoomie. I have been futzing around with cues since shortly after returning home from Viet Nam in 1970. Over the years I have bought a lot of used machinery, especially metal working lathes, and have five that I would like to move out of my shop so I could buy some more....how stupid is that ?????
This is my first thread that I have started on AZ Billiards so I may be kinda klutzy in my replies. Better to phone me at 734-428-1161, after 4pm EST until whenever....or contact me thru my web site [www.cuemaker.com] via e mail: cuebuilder@cuemaker.com
These lathes, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE, are not useable for all aspects of cue building, but with a little TLC could be turned into a robot machine to do one aspect of the job quite well, from cutting points to a simple turning center. If you are interested in details about these machines then you must contact me. I would waste my time and yours trying to describe them here. If you are looking for turn key cue building machinery these lathes are not for you, but if you are looking for a heavy duty machine, that will work for you forever, after to set it up, these things are for you.
I am located in SE Michigan, as close to Toledo as to Detroit, for those of you who are wondering just how far you will have to drive to pick up one of these babies. EXTREMELY REASONABLY PRICED. Again, best to call for details......
