What is known about these model cues? Are they still making them today? I saw on one site some are discontinued, does that make it worth more? The model I'm looking at is 97-11 a buddy wants to trade it to me and it's in perfect condition but the original shaft has no dots. Does that make it older? I'd like to know everything I can about the 97 series, I'm not sure 97 means the year they were made or not I know there has to be a few meucci buffs out there that knows everything about it. I want to hear all reviews good and bad thanks everyone

Started in 1997, and a few of the more popular cues out of the series are still being made. Red dot shafts came out somewhere around 1999, so that puts yours in the 97-98 range. Unfortunately, the cues didnt hold their value well, and are probably worth about 50-75% of the original selling price depending on condition. That one sold in the 400 range new, so figure 200-300.
Hope this helps
Chuck
