Meucci block letters butt cap

Help!

A buddy yesterday accidently hit the edge of the table and broke off a big chunk of the butt cap. It's a late 70's or early 80's block letter butt cap.

In searching a little-is Ratcues the one to talk to about this? Anybody else, too?

Any guidance is appreciated. It seems to be fairly brittle-slightly yellowed-hard plastic-like material. He is bummed. He just got it back from a refinishing 2 weeks ago.

To preserve the block lettering and value of the cue I suggest sending it to Meucci after you make sure they can restore the original lettering after replacing the butt cap.
