'Meucci Cue Archives'....RIP

Went on Budget's site the other day and the Archives were gone. I emailed them and they said the new owners made them pull the archives. Meucci may be planning on their own idk. Kinda sucks 'cause this was a good reference source.

From what i've found out is that a employee(s?) bought the company. They totally overhauled their site, repairs are getting done on time and quality-control looks to be WAY better. Hopefully they'll do their own archives.
Lets assume that the new owners have increased quality control.
If one were to buy a Meucci cue how would they know if it was old stock with iffy quality or a new and improved version?

I would have to assume that since the acquisition was many months ago, and they currently have little inventory and 4-6 week backlogs, most (obviously not all) of their new orders are new stock. I've bought four new Meucci cues in the past six months and numerous other small items, and all have been great. They are much more responsive, repairs are being done much faster, the website is way better, etc. I've spoken with one of the new owners and he was very enthusiastic about where they want to take the business but even more importantly, very aware of what had happened to the Meucci brand over the years.

That is great to hear.

As long as they still build them the same with better construction application then I'm all for it.

In a perfect world it will shoot like a Meucci with fantastic construction.

UPDATE...... I emailed Meucci and they responded fairly quik. Good sign compared to old mngmnt. They said they are working on their own Archives to be on their site. Gave no date when it should go hot.

A few very skeptical people on the Meucci Facebook groups have reported that they have indeed gotten cues back from repair in weeks rather than months, and that customer service has improved dramatically. It seems the new management does appear to be making meaningful changes. I've always been a fan of the brand, and I would love for the change in ownership to be a success story.
