Can any of you tell me the model of this Meucci Cue. It appears the white in the butt and points is ivory and a friend is trying to sell it. I'd like to know the fair value of it.

Next to impossible it is ivory, and between 2-300 would be my guess on value.

It's from their 1997 line! Current value is around $100 but possibly 150-200 if you had a rookie buyer! I have the 97-9 collecting dust in new condition I'm keeping because it's worth more to have a guest to use than the resale value

I doubted it was Ivory as well but it does appear to have grain to it. It's not mine so I can't stick it

I am pretty sure the cue would sell for $200 (on average) all day long, on any day of the week, on ebay auction.

Buyers on ebay over pay on Meucci cues. Meucci cues must be the highest in demand production cues ever made.

That cue is really nice. It might even sell for $300 at auction (who knows).

For example, check out this Nightime Road Agent Meucci Originals that recently sold for close to $800 on ebay.

Don't buy into the mooch haters here.

All you got to do is pull up ebay auctions on Meuccis.

$200, good day you might get another $50 but I wouldn't let it go for less than a buck eighty. Unless it's something real unique, which I don't see.

Original Meuccis have block letters. Its not ivory.

As to Measureman's comment, I know many ppl who own straight Meucci cues.

I know many people have heard my rant on quality on my Meucci, at least 4 years straight in my trunk in mid-Michigan, perfectly straight. Let me know when yours gets there.

Hey Stick

I shot with that cue and ran a rack of 9 ball with it. It was straight when I used it several months ago.

Speaking of a straight Meucci. My old Meucci rose wood sneaky is a 62" cue with a 31" Black Dot shaft. Still shoots, looks and rolls straight after 6 years and I have won more money with that cheap Meucci then any cue I have.

Come shoot some pool some time, unless you can no longer see to the end of a 9 foot table!

Just kidding buddy...........

I'm sure there are straight Meuccis out there.
I only mention it because i bought a great looking one in the mid 80's and it played fantastic until 6 months down the road it warped.
And I never abused it,i took care of it.
So I'm still mad all these years later that the great Bob Meucci put out a piece of crap cue.
Bob if you read this you owe me a cue!

I believe mine had a one year warranty which is why I kept it in my trunk, figured if it warped I'd get it replaced and not do that anymore.

Go to your favorite restaurant that has great sevice enough times and eventually you'll have a bad experience one night. That same night, it might be somebody's first time there.
