Meucci First Gen/Second Gen Carbon Fiber Shafts

While looking for a Carbon Fiber shaft for my Meucci cue I noticed that Meucci has a second gen carbon fiber shat available. Does anyone know the difference do they play the same?

I currently play with a Meucci classic shaft 12.75mm with the standard long taper.

The only place I ever saw someone say 2d gen was better was in Meucci blurbs at billiard supply houses.

Skyler Woodward was sponsored by Meucci, and the 2d gen was said to be based on improvements he suggested. Of course, he left soon after iirc.
