Selling a Meucci Gambler-2 setup. This is a cue from either late 90's or very early 2000's, based upon Meucci's switch in weight bolts types in very early 2000. This butt has the old style weight bolt. I picked this up from a collector who claims it was never used, and I've not used it since I got it years ago. The butt is 29", 14.1oz, with a black irish linen open wrap (not coated over).

Three shafts are included. One Red Dot, 29", 13.88mm, 4.1oz; One Black Dot, 29-1/8", 12.6mm, 4.5oz; and One Black Dot, 29-1/8, 12.65mm, 4.6oz. None of these shafts have ever been chalked or played.

Also included are genuine Meucci fancy matching joint protectors at all locations (4). These were bought by me a while ago but are not 25 years old like the rest of the setup. See pictures.

I've had this cue for awhile and am selling it along with numerous others as I want to reduce the size of my collection, As I reviewed this cue, I noticed that the finish had started to yellow somewhat. For that reason, I sent it to Proficient Billiards for a refinish last month.

This setup is still for sale brand new from Meucci for $1870 all-in. I'm asking $1250 shipped conus.

PM if interested

Very nice. The newer gamblers I have seen some that yellow fast in the white parts of the butt end. Yours look very white still. GLWS

Please let us know if the " buyer" who did not pay is someone on this site- as you know many of us buy or sell cues here from time to time and this person should be exposed to all- Thanks, Mike
That happened to me recently on a cue I had for sale, they asked for a week to settle up and I was nice enough to agree to it, then they ghosted me when I contacted them after the week was up. I lost out on another cue I was looking at because of it. The person is here on AZ but I didn’t out them, (although I probably should have). I wouldn’t have cared if they just gave me a reason but they just chose to not be “man” enough to give me the courtesy. They know who they are and have to live with it.

Yes, it was an AZB member who failed to pay. I then agreed to a sale to a second person who then demanded proof of shipping before he would pay... unbelievable.. it ultimately sold on FBMP easily.

Some cue buyers get cold feet after they satisfy the hunt. I'd only sell to someone here if I had a good feel for them.... And there are a few members I'd ship in good faith and let them pay after they had it in hand and was satisfied.
