meucci hubbart cue

Hey guys I recently acquired this hubbart that I believe to be an lh1...the shaft has a broken collar (composite ivory) and no tip...the butt is in pretty good shape.. I am either going to trade it for another cue or spend the money and get the original shaft fixed as well as order another shaft for it...is it worth dumping a few hundred into or should I just trade it off as is...if I were to trade it off what would an approximate value be for it...thanks I advance

You need to fix the rings even if you want to trade it. You probably should not build another shaft for it unless you are going to keep it. Check with Ryan at Muellers and see what he would charge to repair the rings.

I spoke with Scott erwin...and have seen some of his work. ..he quoted me a real good price to repair the collar on the shaft...I will be sending it out to him very soon
