I've looked all through the online archives and can't find this particular model that I recently picked up. Has the Meucci Originals logo but a matching black dot shaft, so I know it's not real old. Just wondering if anyone can ID.

It appears to be a variation on the EUROPEAN SERIES (mid-late 80s --- I remember TONS of players had a European Series Meucci. Great playing and affordable). Shaft is not original to that butt, but could have been made later for it by Meucci.

Meucci sold many oddballs by special order and or for their sponsored players to sell. You have an originals butt with a much later made black dot. The black dot shafts have much less value to most meucci lovers and collectors as the classic no dot shafts up to the early to mid nineties played loose, soft and whippy with high deflection. The guys like me that grew up playing with them in the 70’s want those. The butt…..value depends on who wants it. Few hundred bucks.

Thanks guys. Kind of what I figured on it. What puzzles me though is the guy says he got it new with that shaft, but who knows. It is super clean for an "originals."
I know what you mean on the whippy shafts. I used to sell Meuccis and played many of those shafts. Quite a few pros used them in the 80's.
