Almost bet as soon as I start to sand the wrap, it comes apart. LOL

Well it's here today, maybe owned 30 plus cues in my live. First time someone sent it in black plastic pipe... hey it works.

Cue is kind of better shape than he told me. The wrap finish

comes off with my thumb nail. Spots look to be completely dry rotten.

To be honest i don't think these were ever designed/built to last this long. Most old M's i see are pretty much tomato stake material.

Here are some updates, the cue is still in pretty good shape. Inlays all look good, cue is nice a round, no really deep damage but two on the end cap. Attempting to fill those with CA and sand them out.

I have a black lizard piece already at the house so think it might look good on this cue.

The cue didn't come with a staff and I need a 1" collar for it, so I reached out to Meucci to see if they can help. I only have 3/4 inches collars.... plus asked if they can build me a matching shaft.

Looks great and you work fast. I shipped that last Tuesday. By the way, I only ship in PVC tubes. Added piece of mind for me. You are really giving that old girl some much needed love. I had a feeling it was going to look great when finished.
