Meucci Original Gambler

Up the Irons!!!

This is a Meucci Original Gambler that I recently picked that's in ORIGINAL condition!!!! Apparently the guy who I got it from hasn't played league in many years and it's just been sitting in a case and he finally decided to sell it. Other than some light shaft blueing, which cleaned up nicely with the trusted Magic Eraser, there are NO dings or scratches. It also appears to have ivory points and hopefully someone can verify that for me. I'm not an expert but they definitely have a grain pattern to them, hopefully you can see it in the pics.

Here it is with it's some other Originals that I've aquired. I just recently had the 84-7 refinished by Proficient Billiards. The ST-3 is also in original condition.

its funny how time passes,it seems like just the other day when I was buying those cues new,and selling them never realizing that they would be classics before I knew it.

The cues we see today will soon become classics, collectible. We think they will always be available but they aren't. Remember George,Gus, Verl,Craig, and Jerry.Friends are lost forever but these memories and cues keep something alive.

So, How's it shoot?

Markus

Ha, I have shot a little with it and it shoots fine :) It's got the original tip on it which is kind of hard and dried out so I don't really care for that but I'm not going to change it. It feels similar to the 84-7 though, which I've been playing with lately. The ST-3 is a whippy son of a gun, crazy whippy.
