Nice older Meucci. Plays pretty damn sporty. Nice older wood, not whippy at all. Butt and shafts super straight together and apart. The finish on one area around the joint is gone, the forearm has some dings, it's an old played cue. Wrap is sealed. Could go for a refinish or play as is. Here is the fun part, two original shafts, one is 12.3mm at ferrule weighing in at 3.37 oz and the second shaft is 13.44mm and 3.95 oz. Both shafts have 1.2" long micarta ferrules. Can't say I come across many 30 year old shafts over 13 let alone nearly 13.5mm. My scale isn't large enough to weigh the butt, but I would say it is near 15/15.5. Good balance. It put down pool balls on a snooker table easily. Ebony points with natural, green, red and black veneers. Forearm has a light red stain that accentuates the figuring in the maple.
Considering it needs a refinish but has two great shafts, I think $OLD is a decent price.
