Meucci Original with 2 matching shafts

There are a lot of Meucci lovers. Eventually the right person will see this thread.

Scot,
I believe this cue is called the "White Knight". I was lucky enough to find one a month or so ago on eBay. From what I've found, this cue is a special order from cornhusker billiards and they sold them out of their shop. Good looking cue!

This is the first cue I ever bought, same exact model. Paid $130 back in 86 or 87 for it, it was brand new. I don't recall any "white knight" name.

I would love to just buy your shafts as mine broke when I pretended I was Luke Skywalker in a post-league stooper.

Thanks for the input. I'm almost positive it is not a "White Knight." Kobachi, thanks for your timeline info. I got this cue a little over a year ago and do to the extreme yellowing of the finish I thought that it might be older. When I first got it I did several hours of internet research trying to find a model # with no luck. Still am curious as to a model #.

Thanks for all the help.
Scot

maybe i made.that all up

Or maybe I'm a little better on the ol' intra-web ( ;
Meucci Cue ID help needed -*09-22-2007, 01:28 AM

> I had one with rings identical to this,not to mention an 84-4 nearly identical to the catalog cue. The one in this post was a private-edition made for Cornhusker Billiards,which is the same company we now know as Mueller's. Mine did not have any other identifying labels other than the MO logo,but some of the plain-janes had C.B.S.-LTD by Meucci on them. I think it was called the White Knight or something,and they also had a black version,and I paid 119.00 for mine in 1988. The 84-4 that was mentioned earlier is a 2 point cue. According to Bill Randolph,owner of Billiard Pro Shop in Memphis and one-time shop manager at the Meucci factory when it was in Olive Branch,Ms,the ONLY 4 point 84-4 he knew about in 20 years was made for none other than Earl,and he used that cue to win the 1988 Brunswick World Open.
