I have this Meucci Original in mint condition. Both shafts have been replaced with Black Dot shafts and they play great. No dings, scratches or any other kind of marks so it looks like it just rolled of the assemblely line. I believe the cue is a 84-8 but was part of some kind of a variation that was only produced in a run of 50. On the butt it is clearly marked number 21/50. Cue weighs 19oz and both shafts are 12.6mm.

Sold shipped conus

I believe what you have is one of the reproductions that meucci did a run on about 6-8 years ago, that's why it's #21 out of 50 and has black dot shafts. I dont know why meucci did this but they never should have. If im wrong im sorry, but I believe it to be true.

Bob won't do a reproduction of a cue and put Meucci original on it! If he did a repop on a Meucci original I promise it would say only Meucci in script!

Meucci Man this is definitely a reproduction and yes he did make it and put Meucci Original on it. MeucciMan you probably should do some research before you make a promise like that. If you notice both shafts are brand new black dot shafts. None of the Meucci Originals came with black dot shafts. Also, this cue is numbered 21 of 50. This model of Meucci Originals was not numbered and they made alot of them.

I think they did actually do some cues somewhere between 2003 and 2006 or something that they brought back the 'Meucci Original' script on. You can ask Bob, but I seem to remember Bill Randolph at Billiard Pro in Memphis having some. The ones I remember seeing, the 'Meucci Original' lettering was very slightly different that it was on the pre 1991 Originals, maybe a slightly different font or size or something. Of course, it's been quite a few years since I saw one too :) I think it was a VERY limited number and I have no idea what models or anything they were done in.

Either way, this is a great cue from a great seller. Someone got a really nice collectible here.

Wow I honestly didn't know that, I bet he realized it was a bad idea after doing it and said no more. I will have to ask Bob what was up with that!

Okay I may have goofed buy you can't say nothing about the black dot shaft because Bob makes black dot shafts every day with collars that match Meucci originals for people everyday!
