Meucci question

hi,
i found a meucci hof1 that looks different than the pics i find. it dosnt say original and the forearm looks darker without the splotchy red color. what did the originals look like ? and did the original cues say original ( find that kinda stupid , did they already know someone else was gonna make them ) ?

. anyway its probaby just another piece of firewood.

prolly not, Meucci's are pretty good players for the money, if you don't like a hard hitter. But, the Originals were only made for the 1st several years, then in like the Mid 80's the logo changed to the "Meucci" script as it is today. None of the HOF series ever said originals on them. In fact most but maybe not all, of the HOF series are actually remakes, with the script logo, of the more popular Originals models. I have some of both, and they all play descent, but none as good as my schon. As far as color, they don't all look like the pics in the catalogs, different stains, wraps, and veneers were available on most models, as they are still. Hope this helps,,,,,,
