Bought both cues new in the 90s. Both are players but very well cared for and in excellent condition.
The SE2 has a linen wrap (no lacquer) and a 31 inch shaft. The shaft does not roll out perfect but is very close. No affect on performance. The butt rolls out perfect. $800
The D 17 has a custom nickel collar and rolls out perfect together or apart. 29 inch shaft. $650
