Meucci value question

Hello guys,

I may have the chance to buy a Meucci MS-5B, the bright one. The dark one is the MS-5E. The seller wants €300,00 and the cue probably needs a refinish due to some chips in the wrap area (I guess it's just the finish on top of the linen). Could anyone tell me what's the value of said cue? I tried to find some infos in the Meucci archives on budgetcues.com, but Europeans seem to get blocked by the site.

What's this in dollars? $450? Those were pretty hi-end for Meucci when new. Have any pics? Are all the inlays still flush?

it looks like a knockoff. go the new style buttcap. inlays look weird. i'd leave this alone.
 
I didn't see the bumper before, thanks for pointing out. Looks like a spare bumper with initials on it. What do you mean about the buttcap? Isn't that the standard Meucci logo?

I found one. Its called the Olympian. Forgot about this version. Could be real. There are a lot of copies out their too. Real one in top condition is worth 800-1000bux. Thanks for the input. The seller just told me that the butt was once 'broken and repaired'. I guess that's why the transition from the forearm to the wrap looks off.
