Does anyone have a solution to getting frozen weight bolts out of Meucci cues? Practically every Meucci I've ever owned has this same problem with frozen weight bolts. Thanks!
 
Take a soldiering iron and heat the weight bolt this will warm up the glue and you can then remove the bolt. Make sure you do not heat to long as you may damage the finish. Just touch the head of the bolt while heating. :)
 
Just a heads up. Make sure that it is a weight bolt and not the bolt that holds the butt together. Older Meucci's do not have weight bolts and are weighted under the wrap.

Only the Meucci's made over the last few years use weight bolts. I called the Meucci repair shop because I have an Original that I wanted to lighten up.
 
my buddy who is cu repair had a stuck bolt and he called meucci and asked how they remove them and he said "3 guys two holding the stick and one on the screw driver" no kidding i heard it on speaker phone and the guy was serious. so needless to say when you have meucci do it they break a few of em lol
