Mezz is well-known for their 2 joints: United Joint, Wavy Joint and 3 shafts: WD700, Hybrid Alpha, and Hybrid Pro II.
From what I have heard, Wavy Joint gives you more traditional (wood to wood) soft impact feels while United Joint gives you firmer and stiffer feelings. For the shafts, from the stiffest to softest in particular orders are HPII, HA and WD700. Am I right?
I have only used their EC7 which is United Joint with WD700 shaft. It gives me a solid/stiff and "accuracy" feeling which is very different from my current play cue McDermott, 3/8 x 10 wood to wood joint with a regular maple shaft.
My questions are: What would be the FEELS of other Joint/Shaft combinations. (For example, United Joint with HA / HP2 shaft; Wavy Joint with WD700 / HA / HP2 shaft.) How would these combinations affect the actual play (hit)??
I know the answers of the above questions could be subjective, but, there aren't any Mezz dealers in my area that I can try their cues, so I would really need any of your feedbacks (objective or subjective) on that.
Any inputs are much appreciated!!
