I have decided to sell my mezz exceed cue, 8 point ebony forearm with thuya burl points and white veneer. Silver ringwork and leather wrap. Comes with a custom 13mm wd-700 shaft (Special ordered) Shaft is new and has no chalk stains.

Butt weight: 15.4oz
Shaft Weight: 3.8oz
Total Weight: 19.2oz
Tip: 13mm Moori M
Joint: Mezz wavy joint

Cue is in 90% condition and has only been used for a couple of months, I purchased this cue for $2200 but am only looking for $1200.

The cue came originally with a Hybrid Pro II, which is a good shaft but is very very stiff due the carbon rod in the shaft. The WD offers a more natural feel and feel much more like a 1 piece shaft rather than the typical LD shafts.

I had the shaft matched at exactly the same weight as the original. The original shaft was sold to another player in my club.

Would you have pictures of the WD700 shaft.

Question; That shaft as similar cue ball deflection like the Hybrid Pro II shaft or it's totally different, maybe more like the Predator 314 ?

The shaft is solid and powerful. It has slightly more deflection than HP2 but still definitely a LD shaft. The feel is more like a solid hard maple shaft. It is sweet...

Thanks for the clarification, my HP2 is warped and I tested a old WD700 shaft from a friend of mine but it wasn't new.....so I didn't really pay to much attention to how that shaft played. Maybe with a brad new one I will have a much better feel and better results.

The HP2 is a much stiffer shaft for sure, but you get allot less cue ball deflection, it's a straight shooter. Not so much with the WD700, but a much better feel overall.
