Anyone using the Mezz extension? Seems like its easy to install and use? I hate using the bridge!!!!
Yes, I have a 2-inch permanent one use with my Mezz cue, as I'm 6'5" and need extra length. I also have the 8.25 inch extension for longer reach shots. It screws right in to the back of the 2-inch extension. It works great, but why the 8.25 inch extension is so much pricier than other extensions, I don't know why - like $160+ with the needed bumper and wrench.Anyone using the Mezz extension? Yeah, and the bottom line is, if you've already made the decision to pay the price to play with a high quality production cue like a Mezz, you probably don't mind paying that much more for the extension - as you don't really have any choice if you want one!I have it and I love it. Expensive, but if you play for even modest stakes it should eventually pay for itself.

Keep in mind - it won't keep you from still having to use the bridge some of the time. Even when using the extension, when your bridge hand is more than 2 feet from the cue ball, you're better off using the bridge. I'm 6'5" and I still must use the bridge if the cue ball is 2 diamonds or less from the end rail on a 9-foot table.
I have always played with a 60" cue - a Pechauer with a custom 30" butt and a custom 30" shaft, so when I switched to a Mezz cue, even though I was able to get a 30" EXPro shaft, I was still 1" short of what I'm used to playing with. I ordered the 2" butt extension, so now I'm playing with a 61" cue or 3 inches extra long, and I like it. They make a 2-inch and a 4-inch butt extension. Although I don't currently have the 4-inch extension, I'm thinking of ordering one just for when I'm playing on our 10-foot table, as there are so many more shots that come up on a 10-foot table that I could use that extra length for.Hey chris, playing much better with the ext? How does it feel while shooting? Had a balance rite, loved it, but it eventually threw my joint all out of whack. Now I have a mezz, feels like the stroke is cramped somewhat. I'm about 5'11, wide shoulders
