Mezz Power Breaker II

I got mine before the price went up. I think I paid $280. Now they are $100 more. It breaks really nice. It is stiff and just feels solid. You can adjust the weight to your liking by adding/removing washers. This is done by unscrewing a section of the butt. That makes it look like a jump/break cue but it is not.

Personally I like having a good break cue but was it worth that much (or more)? I don't know. I might get a couple extra MPH on my break and less wear and tear on my playing cue. Either way I am happy to have it and use it often.

One other thing. If you are really tall you may not like how short the cue is. It is fine for me at 5'11'' but my buddy who is 6'7'' has a hard time with it.

I am kind of short, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Does the shorter butt help (for those of us under 6 feet)

I am not sure if I can give you a good answer to that. I think the idea is the shorter cue helps generate more speed before you contact the cue.

Got one a few months back. It blasts the rack. A guy on my team does NOT even use his predator break cue anymore, he just reaches for the Mezz. The spread is crazy. Obviously, some folks have the speed to blast the rack with any cue, but if you don't have crazy speed/power, this is the cue for you !!

i like mine and people compliment me on my break regularly...

that said, there are two guys on my team who break better with it than i do [shakes head]... one guy, in particular, breaks with it so well that it sounds like the crack of a .22 when he breaks with it...

to be honest I found it hard to consistently control the cue ball with the PB2, it's easier for me with the PB1, especially when I try to pop the cue ball. but the speed is tremendous, the rack often spread beautifully also. it really adds so much power to a averaged speed break, but if you have a powerful break in yourself already, the added power may be hard to control.
